Guest spook
I'd like to be able to mod, design a level or something but I really wouldn't know where to start.Seems I have too much to do most of the time and if that's true now it will be true forever - can't understand where people get the time to do it - think it'd take me years, and I just know my efforts are going to be futile - a total waste of time, and a mockery compared to the work of a primary school child, even. Guest The Ghost of Inept Pig
It may be worth looking here, for CS map editing, not too sure myself.I remember struggling to make a simple box room on Half-Life and failing at that, it was the most moral destroying thing I'd ever done. Since then I've played with the idea of making MOH maps (even downloaded the Spearhead SDK), I've got as far as..... well, it wouldn't win any awards... unless barren landscapes are en vouge this year.It does take sometime, but a little a day, plus the bonus of insomnia.... and hey, you too can turn up for work moaning about how stupid map design programs are...Not to discourage you at all :D
Guest Dan
Like these two sad cases I am a failed hopeful in this.(made the box but couldn't attach it to anything - so we're talking a Real small map :( )However here are a few possible links found in the google newsgroups...http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&...e.modificationshttp://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&...lf-life.editingthe links are rather long and I hope they come out ok but if not the end section tells you where you can find them in Google. Ash
All the ones I use. I've grown to hate desktop icons...so I hide them and put everything useful in Quick Launch. The bigger size of it, and the more windows dispayed, is an improvement to.
