Guest ads0178
Hi, wondering if anyone can help! When creating a Group Policy in Active Directory, I attemp to assign software to the domain, but when clicking on:"Computer Configuration" --> "Administrative Templates" --> "Software Settings" - There is no option for "Software Installations" and all documentation says that this should just appear as the next subfolder for you to allocate software to be installed. This is a new snap-in I'm setting and there is no way of getting "Software Installations" to appear to I can move to the next step. Is there something I need to do to make this option appear???? Maybe a change to the current security/group policy settings. Its got me totally bafffled as I have have the full security & group policy ready to roll, but this is proving a huge stumbling block as I need to assign the right software to the domain.Any help greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!RegardsAds
Guest Clint
Hi ads0178, welcome to the forum. I cannot help you with your query, however, there are XP experts who will come online later. Namely Craig, ellas and mark2 and others who should be able to assist.
