Architecture: Platform: i386 O/S: XP SP3 Several HD's, USB Devices etc. Adequate Power supply Problem: On last launch - failed to boot Booted from another XP boot disk [small - minimal] on system OK! BUT normal BOOT launch Disk not listed Ran chkdsk /R, disk listed without contents and vol label Still NO contents listed from My Computer ! Restored MBR from stored files - No effect! Actually MBR record and listings appeared normal. Used 'Testdisk' Partitions, CHS normal and as expected, re-wrote MBR and MFT - relaunch => same results From Testdisks, files are listed (Recovery slow and tedious ; 120+ GB) seem to stall on Documents and Settings directory (extra large directory & sub directories) Any other suggestions for solution, more than welcomed !!!
