  1. Hi I've recently put together a small HTPC, on which I run Windows 7 Professional. I am now encountering an issue where Wake on Lan works only if I have recently put the HTPC to sleep; if I let it sleep for a few hours, it will no longer respond. It hasn't hibernated; the power diod on the front panel are still blinking just as if it's sleeping, it just doesn't wake when I send WoL packet anymore. Could it be that windows is turning of the network card? If so, why would it work initially, but not after a longer time period? Are there different sleep states that activate after a certain amount of time? Any help appreciated
