I've seen a mouse I'd quite like to buy.. http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...oduct_uid=27572

It works out at just over £11 all-in.

Unfortunately the only review I can find is in Norweigan :o.. http://www.softmag.no/memorex_optical_wire...eless_mouse.htm

Does anyone know any reasons I shouldn't buy one?

Does anyone have ANY IDEA of what sort of battery life to expect,I woudn't want to be changing the batteries every other day(and yes I realise they are available with rechargeables and charging stations but I'm a bit strapped for cash)

Anyhoo thanks in advance.

Hmmmmmm....I've since found a battery charger with 4 AAA batteries at Maplin for £7.99

Makes the deal sweeter methinks.

Cheers

Gah...I decided against that purchase as the £12.99 price quickly added up to £21.73 after P&P and VAT.

What a CON!!!

There is a PC fair at Doncaster Racecourse tomorrow and I guarantee I'll come home with a bargain!! :P

Will post details tomorrow night.

Cheers.

I use the logitech corless keyboard and mouse set (optical mouse).

At the time i bought it i also bought a battery charger and several packs of digi-cam quality batteries.

It was all bought in october last year, the keyboard batteries have not been changed yet, and the mouse batteries get changed every 4 - 5 weeks.

I guess the batteries in the mouse would last longer if logitech had designed the mouse so the red light would not flash all the time. But you cant have everything!

WOW!! That's very impressive.I can't stretch to that combo but I wish I could :(

Current state of play :- I've bid £10.50 for the white Memorex mouse (brand new) that I mentioned 5 posts up in an Ebay auction. The vendor is only about 10 miles from me so I can collect it for next to nowt!

Fingers crossed :D

Cheers.
