andker333 Posted July 3, 2004 Report Share Posted July 3, 2004 Hi My computer has a problem with an installer screen coming up all the time when I go into Word, Explorer etc. It wants to install Office xp which is already there! Big Elf Posted July 3, 2004 Report Share Posted July 3, 2004 I posted this in your other thread.I will probably be totally wrong on this but here goes nothing.Certainly earlier versions of Office (2000 in my case) allowed you the option to 'Run All from My Computer' or to run from CD when installing. It's possible that when you installed that the 'Run all from my computer' option wasn't selected and so that's why it asks for the CD.Try installing it again and select the Custom installation option.
