This will improve my overall efficiency...but

My pc sometimes jams.....i'm useing Xp Pro,so after it has restarted itself,this thing will pop out saying something like this",there was a serious error,would you like to send this to the Microsoft to view this error"...when i send this error to the microsoft...it said this error was caused by my graphic card(GForce 2)....so the microsoft led me to this website where i can download the updated graphic drive...the name of the software was,Nvidia....but when i install the updated drive,...it makes my screen go blank after every 10-20 secs. What is happening......the website where i downloaded this software says that this will improve my overall efficiency...and look what is happening....have anybody use this software(Nvidia).....
