Guest Dan
Ok, dumb query. So I've just had my first virus - some kind of I-Worm which AVG grabbed off some spam and stuck in it's virus vault. So the question is what do I do with said file in the vault. Do I leave it in there, delete it or what? This has never happened to me before which is why I'm kind of puzzled over it. Been pretty lucky I guess. bvw
As the virus was in a spam email you can safely delete it, it's not an important file. It's locked away doing no harm :)

bvw
I've put my Settings to delete the vault viruses every 14 days, but I've only ever had one virus, thanks to a "friend" and Kazaa and his machine having no virus scanner
