Changing drive letters

As I mentioned just after Aug 15 my CDRW had gone toes up and I had numerous issues regarding re-installing XP Pro one of which was to change the drive letters. My replacement CDRW arrived this morning and have fitted it but it is showing the wrong drive letter. It is physically installed as the master at the end of the ide Cable and selected as master. It shows up as drive H while the DVD reader is physically the slave but is showing as drive G.

I was told before how to re-assigned the drive letters but I've forgotten and the original thread has gone to fairy land. Could someone refresh my memory. I've tried right clicking on my computer and looked around without success.

Right click My Computer.......Manage.......Disk Management........you'll see all your drives, right click the drive you want to assign a new letter to. Change drive letter and paths........

Mine are changed to W and V ( dVd....cdrW)...my logic :D
