Is this a trojan I've picked up?

When booting up XP as the desktop comes on I get an apparent system box saying

"61c: qttask.exe - No disk

There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive\device\Harddisk1\DR3

Cancel Try Again Contine"

At the same time as this box opening up the Dial Up Connection Window also opens up behind it.

I've run AVG and also GAV and though neither pick up any viruses Gav does show an scr file that I didn't used to have and that it says might be a trojan in the Temp Internet directory.

I did a disk clean up cause the directory was pretty full anyway but does any one have any other ideas, or know if this IS a trojan.

I also tried dropping back to an ealier restore point but the only difference it made was to stick a different number infront of the qttask.exe legend.

Cheers

Dan

Good morning Dan,

If you have a look here it seems that you're not alone, and that it's not a trojan but a Quicktime related problem..

Hope the link helps.

Good morning IP.

And Good night I'm off to bed.

Thanks a lot for the link I've followed the end solution and will see if it worked tomorrow when I boot up.

Cheers again.
