peterpan3494 Posted October 31, 2004 Report Share Posted October 31, 2004 hi peeps first time entry on this forum so please forgive me if its posted in wrong section a friend of mine has a problem with hidserv.exe and microsoft wireless optical mousehere what happens hidserv.exe error on boot as soon as mouse is movedand here is what we have done and now at a loss as to cure the problem uninstalled hardware, uninstalled software, reinstalled hardware, reinstalled software....two or three times, uninstalled software, unplugged hardware, plugged back in, recognised hardware, downloaded lastest driver from microsoft, installed....still no difwe have also up dated the bios and chipset and all this with windows 2000 professionalany help would be great many thanks for reading Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
