Excel problems

Recommended Posts

I keep on getting the following message:

Excel has caused an error in in KERNEL32.DLL. Excel will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer.

I've re-botted quite a few times now with no joy - the computer has quite a few dents where I've booted it so much! :P

I know it's probably a simple answer but there's got to be a village idiot now and then and right now it's my turn!!!!

Good link - thanks

Just tried going in to excel again and this time it lets me open a file held on a floppy disk (yes those old square bits of plastic!!!!) but won't let me open another excel file held on the same disk! could it be something to do with the file do you think?
