Redhat Posted November 10, 2004 Report Share Posted November 10, 2004 Just bought a nice Toshiba laptop, and a belkin 54g notebook WNIC.WEP key entered correctly.Signal status : excellent.QoS Uninstalled.Kerio PF 4 installed.MSN cuts out every now and again and browsing is painfully slow. I'm taking the wnic back to the shop tomorrow to get a replacement, see if thats the problem. Just wanted to ask for ideas here incase it doesn't solve the issue.Many thanks! In Windows, at the command prompt, you would type ping -t www.cisco.com -l 1000. I'll check the router now to see if DHCP is set up correctly. But I have set up a designated IP on the notebook so I don't think DHCP is the root of my problems.
