Help: can't boot windows 98 anymore

Recommended Posts

I have a dual-boot system (Windows 98 /Red Hat Linux).

Under windows, I played with PQBoot.

Now I can't boot windows anymore. It tries to boot from floppy, which it normally never does.

When I use a floppy with 'command.com', 'autoexec.bat' and 'config.sys' and try to boot windows in safe mode I get the message that the following files are corrupted or missing:

c:\windows\himem.sys

c:\windows\dblbuff.sys

c:\windows\ifshlp.sys

How I fix this?

Regards,

Janneman
