jaross
I have a 2600 xp+ (OCed to 2.2 ghz) and we jsut got a computer that has a 2800 Sparion, but everything else about the new computer is worse then the 2600 xp+. Can i just trade out the processors? is there anything that is worse about the Sparion compaired XP+ processors? and lastly, will I be able to O.C. the sparion as high as i have the 2600 xp+? trackrat
The xp processors have got more onboard cache than the sempron, so even if you overclocked it it would still not be as fast. The sempron is just a continuation of the duron. Nem1
In my opinion, Amd isnt good, rather have a Intel Cpu, even celeron..Did a test between Celeron 2.4Ghz ( Clocked to 3.4ghz ) and Amd 64 Bit 3400+ and guess what..Almost fall of my chair...In total the Celeron has better prestations then the Amd 64Bit...Sold my P4, and got myself a celeron going @ 3.4ghz :)
