My boyfriend is accusing me of reading his privat files. Can't blame him thou since the timestamp of the files shows them beeing changed when he was at work and me beeing home. Since I did not read his files I wonder if there is any other way their timestamps could have been changed? The circumstances was as follows. The computer was "logged-in", I used Word, Explorer and some file-sharing programs. The files I am supposed to have read is some sort of text-files, don't know if it is .doc, .txt or some other text-file-format. Please help me find out what could have happend. //hjartat :(

Not an answer to your question but if your boyfriend is so concerned about you reading his files, whether you do or you don't, it is up to him to make them private and inaccessible to anyone else.

Tell him to have a look at this
