geckofrog
I uninstalled Service Pack 2 (the home edition) since it was giving me horrible problems with my wireless connections...well now the spooler system crashes and i can't access ANY of my printers. Is there a a fix for this without installing service pack 2?
homecomputeraid
Sorry about the wait GeckoFrog,I'm searching both the Internet and Microsoft's Knowledge Base, and I'm not finding your specific problem. You could try a repair on XP. Please bear in mind that this is a risky operation and you should back up any critical data before you attempt it.I'll let you know if I find anything.Sincerely,
homecomputeraid
Do you have any specific error messages when you try to print? Is there anything in the Event Log that will help us search?
geckofrog
when i click on "view printers" no printers come up, and when i try to add a printer it says: "operation could not be completed"

Cpt James T. Kirk
well if you get the upgrade it'll have sp2 on it.as a intergrated part. i ordered a xp home oem full ver from newegg for 91 bucks and it has the sp2. but i have had not too many probs installing it since xp ans sp2 install at the same time rather than doing it seperately. my only probs i have now is occassional ie crash but not a system crash. just a nuissance.
