I am having a problem with a trojan.(I think it is) When i scan my pc with norton i keep getting this prompt:

C:\windows\system32.\pif I have tried deleting this file, quarinteaning it,and healing it. nothing is working. I tried doing the above in safe mode with avg and then with norton,it let me quarintean it in safe mode, but when i scan again after a restart, the first thing that pops up is that prompt. And when i try and heal it,quarintean it ect,it wont let me.

Can someone please tell me if this is a trojan or not? Should i post a hijack-this? Thank you.

I have downloaded the file, and ran it,it picked up on the trojan's and got rid of them.(I hope)

trojan hunter doesn't delete the files. instead it renames the nasties with an unexecutable extension .tcf, making them harmless

so click start> search > type in the box *.tcf and delete all files with that extension. those are all trojans !
