Sureshot Posted April 3, 2003 Report Share Posted April 3, 2003 Hello all,I have just purchased a Labtec Verse 313 mic and plugged it into my Asus A7V333 mobo's onboard audio mic jack. I then installed Roger Wilco to use when in gaming on MOHAA. The problem is that I can hear myself through my speakers. I don't think that should be!!The other thing is that the gain on the mic is absolutely terrible i have to have the thing down the back of my tongue before sound is picked up. I have checked the volume controls on just about every line and they are all up at max. I think it may be my mobo audio quality but not sure.I am using a C-media driver which drives both the speakers (2) and the mic.How do I configure the mic so that I don't receive my voice right back at me!!First thing I said - "I don't sound like that do I???" hahaAnyway can anyone help me configure this mic as I have not had much lick setting it up. Sureshot Posted April 3, 2003 Author Report Share Posted April 3, 2003 Yep,It has been put into the pink jack and I have just checked the mobo manual and this is the correct one "Microphone connector".When I go to Control panel/Sound and Audio devices/Audio and look at the sound recording panel I am not able to click on the advanced setting. Sureshot Posted April 3, 2003 Author Report Share Posted April 3, 2003 The voice volume tab appears to be the same as the audio tab and just shows a checked boxed at the bottom of the microphone section with the volume set at max.
