robjwills Posted January 10, 2005 Report Share Posted January 10, 2005 HiWhen I try to boot using ME boot disk, I keep getting the messages:- Windows Millenium Emergency BootWindows is bypassing your startup filesthen it goes straight to the a: prompt,usually a menu appears giving a choice of whether to boot with cd-rom or not, when I try booting ME from the HD, it goes into safe mode,how do I get out of this?Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
spikeychris Posted January 10, 2005 Report Share Posted January 10, 2005 "Windows is bypassing your startup files" generally means you are entering safe mode or some other selected option.
