gassan777 Posted January 21, 2005 Report Share Posted January 21, 2005 There is one machine that I have and it should be available to a certain group of people so they can access one certain webpage that I developed. What can I do to secure the machine? (Not like they are gonna attempt messing with it all the time but to make it more difficult for them to mess it up).Like preventing them from logging off that default user that will be always logged on, not being able to go to other sites. Not sure whether this is possible but having Internet Explorer with that site always on and on the desktop so they can't minimize or close it...Machine is running XP Professional..Any ideas?Gassan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Scarecrow Man Posted January 21, 2005 Report Share Posted January 21, 2005 I work at a library where we have public computers, so obviously locking out certain parts of Windows is VERY important. We use a program called Fortres, and it does the job quite well.
