Guest Newcomer
Hallo! My problem is: there is a laptop with Win 2000 Professional installed, it was in some domain. Once it was excluded from this domain with a help of a network setup wizard. Now I can not login to windows because of "username and password are not correct in this domain" :) What can I do now? I tried to reboot it and restore "the last correct settings", but it didn't help me. Also I tried to use a <DOMAIN>\<USERNAME> as a login, it didn't help too. Help me, please! I need it badly.Thank you.PS I don't know any other user logins and passwords on this laptop :(
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
On the Login panel you select the domain name from a pull-down menu; usually it contains the local computer and all available domain names. If you do not see the pull-down menu, then you need to join the computer to the domain (Control Panel / System / Computer Name). You need network admin authority to do this.If all this is correct and you still can't login, then maybe the password for the user needs to be reset? Guest Newcomer
Thank you, it will be helpful, when I have a local admin password. I'll search for a soft to get it, or I'll catch the previous admin of this laptop :)
