homecomputeraid Posted February 5, 2005 Report Share Posted February 5, 2005 Hi Vasichko,I've put in some long days at work recently so I haven't been on the forum much.I have to know a bit more about the VPN situation. Are you doing User tunnels or Branch Office tunnels? Are you terminating the VPN at a firewall or a Windows Server? Are you using the built in Windows Client or a vendor's client software?In the Microsoft XP Client, there's a box you can check that will allow you to specify a logon domain when you're preparing to VPN. Right click on the VPN in Network Connections and select Properties, then click on the Options tab in the connections properties window. Then check the Include Windows Logon Domain box. Try checking the Include Windows Logon Domain box and let me know if that doesn't work. That will allow you to specify the name of the domain you're logging into in a box below the username and password. homecomputeraid Posted March 3, 2005 Report Share Posted March 3, 2005 Vasichko,Make sure your DNS Information is being given out by the server you're vpn'ing into. I'm not sure where the settings are on 2000 Server. It should be in the DHCP Scope for the VPN users. Also verify the permissions VPN users get. If I'm able to, I'll build a 2000 Server at home to try to help you this weekend.
