ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted February 7, 2005 Report Share Posted February 7, 2005 I do an ASR backup every now and then, especially after I made some significant changes in my system settings.Ran another one today, and while I was watching backing it up, I noticed that it was backing up large things from my C: drive that I really didn't want to back up (such as Google Desktop Search files, or Lookout for Outlook files; plus many more).So after the ASR backup and floppy was complete, I just ran the plain backup utility again (vs. the ASR Wizard previously), with all the undesirable things unchecked. Naturally this does not create an ASR floppy.Is there a way to create a tailored ASR without the unneeded stuff, but have an ASR floppy created anyway?P.S. the resulting asr.bkf was 11GB originally, vs. 7GB without the crap.
