Misreading of available disk space!!

Recommended Posts

In trying to install an application I get the message "This software requires 1.5mb===but your system has only .1mb of disk space" which is crazy as I have 2.15 GB free on my one and only drive! I have tried changing the virtual memory settings from Windows control to "Let me specify my own" but, when I re-boot, find that it has reverted to "Let windows manage" Have also defragged, scandisked and tried installing in safe mode, but to no avail! I would welcome any suggestions for a solution.

I do not even want to know what application it is you are trying to install. But if it gets it so wrong even before it is installed, I wouldn't trust anything it does after it is installed.

Stay away from it!
