ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Only today I have found that there was an SP6 available for Visual Studio 6.0 - for almost a year. Downloaded and installed it. During the install I got a pop-up saying that "the intrinsic processor pack for C++ was installed, and that continuing the upgrade, the C++ files would be overwritten". I clicked OK.Now looking at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/download...ck/default.aspx I see that the processor pack is only available for SP4 and SP5. Does anyone here know if there is a processor pack available somewhere for SP6, or is it part of SP6? I seem to be unable to find this information anywhere. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Ah, found http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/download...k/download.aspx:The Visual C++ 6.0 Processor Pack is not compatible with Visual C++ Service Pack 6. ...I also found a chat transcript somewhere on the Microsoft site that the PP will not be made available for SP6, but that it will be part of 7.1. (I had 7.0 installed once, but uninstalled it within an hour because I couldn't figure out how to use it).
