But after a reboot the Automatic Updates page is greyed out again. Its weird that anytime I run the reghack above, it fixes the problem. I reboot the PC and the problem is back. xadamz23 Posted February 11, 2005 Author Report Share Posted February 11, 2005 I figured it out. I have a program called 'Deep Freeze' installed on my PC. I have my PC in the 'thaw' state.
