MCD4x4
Hi,I was using SpyBot and for what ever or however I ended up with a new NTLDR file in my c:\ directory. If I delete it the PC won't boot up. I have to go into the recovery console and copy it from the windows disk to c:\. If I put it in the i386 folder it wont read it from there anymore. Is there a way to make it read it from there again. Call me anal but it annoys me in C:\. lol. Thanks.MCD4x4 NY
Scarecrow Man
NTLDR is a windows system file. You have probably disabled hiding hidden files. To re-enable it, open your C: drive, click Tools > Folder Options.click the View tab, and scroll down to "hidden files and folders" and select "Do not show..."You may also want to make sure that System Files are hidden as well, as changing them can result in a non-booting machine. The option should be in the same location.
