synergy021
My AIM works normally for a few seconds after Sign-On, then goes off to act as if I'm offline. There is no error message whatsoever, IMs don't work, profiles cant be viewed etc. I can still browse the internet while AIM goes off on its own, so I'm confident that my internet is working. The weird thing is that the problem affects both of my computers (which access the internet through a LinkSys BEFSR41). I'm almost sure the router is the problem because when I just directly connect my computer to the cable modem, there are no problems. The router was functioning fine before (I've had it for atleast a year) and the problem seems to have just come out of the blue because I haven't altered its settings (to my knowledge). Thanks in advance for all your help.
