Skinner
I am setting up a business and want to include a fax number of my business cards. I don't have a fax modem, but as I am connected I thought why not try to send and receive faxes through web? Is this possible or is a faxmodem essential? -pops-
Think carefully before you go to any effort on this.Do you really need a FAX facility?I have had my own business since 1996 - complete with FAX. I can't remember the last time it was used either outgoing or incoming. My son has a much bigger business than me doesn't even bother with a FAX any more. His one remaining customer who used it has now seen the light and gone over to email. To answer your question, though, there are web based FAX facilities available. I believe they work through an agency and email.
Skinner
Ah great, I was hoping someone would have the sense to try and stop me! It is just that the business cards I am getting will surely have a blank where fax number should be - won't this look bad?
-pops-
Only if you are having standardised pre-laid out cards.I always print my own now.
Skinner
Well free from VistaPrint, 'cept for postage. Think I should purchase a colour ink cartridge and do my own? Any other tips?
