Hi all

Have bought a nice little ipodmini and me and my wife are going to share it.

I have ripped quite a few tracks and we want to separate the tracks into 2 different folders in the ipod. What i mean is we want a HIS and HER folder where her music is and my music is. Is this possible?

I have tried to put different folders in the C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music folder but this does not work on the ipodmini

Any ideas how we can have 2 folders like this on the ipodmini?

create a new playlist in itunes and copy your songs from the library to the playlist in itunes and next copy the playlist to the ipod.

so while playing you can go to music> playlist and choose your list while your wife chooses the second one

This would be the simplest way.

However, it duplicates the songs and you have 2 lots of the same songs on the ipod and take more space up

Cant you just have a playlist HIS & HERS and not have the music in the library? Thus saving space?

As far as I know it should have a option to remove duplicates or not to allow them... iTunes can do this also, but I didn't find it yet .. :)
