mmmbisto
I've had this problem for a little while now, and it's not just Window Media Player it's with Winamp as well. It seems to have some funny mood swings.Sometimes all videos play fine, but most of the time they play so slowly and therefore the sound isn't right or anything and even when I change the setting to double speed, it's still very slow. .wmv files are absolutely fine though.Does anyone know what the problem is, or can point me in the right direction? -pops-
Do you have a lot of other programs open at the same time? Is there a lot going on in the background?Video takes a lot of your processor power and if there is other stuff going on, it will have to share the CPU between all of that which is open. mmmbisto
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure of what I have. I know there's not much happening in the background, I just can't quite understand why it only seems to be .mpegs mainly that play slowly. It seems to only play normally on occasion, when it feels like it.
