Krakker
Please help, I'm using XP sp2 platform. If I drag a file from one folder to another it renders it unusable. It cannot be opened, moved deleted, renamed or accessed in any way. The file association remains but the applicational is unable to access the file. This applies to all file types. System restore has failed to resolve the problem so it's likely that it has existed for quite some time before I noticed it and consequencely have no idea what caused it. All other explorer functions work normally. I'd appreciate any help.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
When you drag-and-drop, will this do a move, copy, or create a shortcut? When you check the Porperties of the dropped file, does it have any attributes that are different from the source file? When you try to access the dropped file, do you get any error message(s) ?
