vwal_13 Posted April 21, 2005 Report Share Posted April 21, 2005 Hello there. I've got a DVD RW (bulk version :) ) and now i have problems booting Windows (XP). After the memory test is says that a file is corrupted (WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/CONFIG/SYSTEM) and windows does not load. Could anybody tell me why? Might the DVD RW have a driver? Tony Posted April 21, 2005 Report Share Posted April 21, 2005 HiHow have you connected it up?Master, Slave, Cable Select and on what IDE channel.Could you also let us know the make and model of the DVD Burner.Check that you have the ribbon cable round the correct way and that it is pushed in all the way.No drivers are normally requiered.Tony Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
