bhuk
I have a Windows xp pc and laptop I hardwired to set up an Internet Connection Share between my PC However the laptop will only work when ZoneAlarm free version is disabled. I tried putting the (IP address) into the Trusted Zone but to no avail.... The only way I can communicate is by disabling Zone Alarm on both machinesHow do I get ZoneAlarm to allow my laptop to connect to the Internet? homecomputeraid
Are you staticly assigning IP's? If not, they're probably getting an autoconfiguration address when you connect them. Can you tell us the IP's of both machines when they're connected with the crossover cable?
