MrCommunistGen
I replaced my ailing PSU with a 500W Antec SmartPower 2.0 which is ATX 2.0 tho my mobo is only ATX1.x One note: it has dual +12V rails. Anyway, the voltages in Everest seem outside of where they should be, most notably the +12V and the -5V.Voltage Values: CPU Core 1.75 V+3.3 V 3.25 V+5 V 4.95 V+12 V 12.28 V-12 V -11.95 V-5 V 3.50 V+5 V Standby 4.87 VVBAT Battery 3.57 Vbased on these numbers I would think that the 12V is a bit high, but what is really bothering me is that the -5V reads as +3.50.I'm really worried that I might be frying something. Thanks for any input.-mcg
Scarecrow Man
Those are normal voltages.Mine are: CPU Core = 1.74CPU Aux = 2.62+3.3 = 3.52+5 = 4.92+12 = 11.86-12 = -11.71-5 = -5.15That -5 should not be 3.3, but may have had a power spike. Everest does not update in realtime. You can also try Motherboard Monitor for voltages and fan speeds.
MrCommunistGen
The -5 always reads as somewhere around +3.5-3.7 volts and in the motherboard BIOS it reads as "None" probably because the value is out of the range it should be reporting. I feel better about the other voltages though... thanks-mcg
