windows error..

Could someone please tell me what these error messages mean please:

Instruction at 0x7c91142e referenced memory at 0x00720074 memory could not be read.(explorer.exe)

The second message is:

The unknown software exception 0xc0000409 occured in the application at location 0x59a7295d(drwtsn.exe).

these messages appear when i'm opening IE, remote desktop and many other progs....

Can this be fixed without reinstalling xp ?
