Austin6118 Posted June 16, 2005 Report Share Posted June 16, 2005 i get there error message everytime and also my computer seems to randomly crash and just turn off. it will restart initially but then shutdown. ive checked my fans and they seem to be working, i dont know if this is hardware or internal, but whenever i boot up now it is different, im am asked which way i want to run my os, either windows xp or windows xp (bootscreen) adn there are things before saying could not be found, i just dont want my computer shuting off anymore, just yesterday it was on for 8 hrs then shutdown but this morning in turned it on and after an hr it was off again. madboy33 Posted June 16, 2005 Report Share Posted June 16, 2005 Open Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs Select the WildTangent Web Driver Click Remove Select the WildTangent Updater Click Remove Select the WildTangent GameChannel Click Remove Reboot After uninstallation, open your Windows directory, and delete the wt folder Delete the c:\program Files\WildTangent directory If the Wildtangent Control Panel icon still appears in the Windows Control Panel, you may need to search your computer's hard drive for any occurance of the files "wtcpl.dll" and "wtcpl.cpl" and remove it.
