byenary Posted July 8, 2005 Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 Hellow All, Recently I have a problem with a Share on an XP machine (called pavilion), when I try to access it trough a the workgroup or via search computer , my W2K computer says \\pavilion not accesible acces denied. But....On the pavilion is a share from the F drive with a sharename F when i enter manually \\pavilion\F I can acces the drive. This only works when i'm logged in om my w2k machine with a user that is known by pavilion. Normally when logged in as an other user he should ask me for a pasword but noooo.. then I get 'windows cannot find '\\pavilion\F'. check the spelling and try again bla bla bla...' Strange isn't it ? I already uninstalled and installed network card, tcp/ip, file and printer sharing, client for microsoft networks... Anybody ????? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
