Permanent Web address entries??

On Internet Explorer 6, it seems that sites which have been visited frequently will remain in the address bar regardless of how many times the history is deleted (not to mention the cookies and temporary files--though I'm sure that has nothing to do with it). For example, if I begin to type a web address starting with "m", my old college's website will pop up under auto complete--I haven't visited that site in nearly two years! It's very annoying, so any help in removing such addresses would be appreciated...

So you are saying that your last Windows installation was TWO YEARS ago ????  :Nerd Toungue:

How often do expect to instal Windows, my win98SE has been on for years and has'nt needed installing.

OK I also has Win XP and Linus but I have only ever installed them once as well.

thanks expertec, I'll try that. And yes, my laptop came with Windows XP when I bought it a little more than two years ago (and actually, it's been more like a year and a half since I visited that website I was mentioning) so I don't see any reason why I should have reinstalled Windows since then.
