PingPlus

http://www.netinfo.co.il

PingPlus is a new freeware Internet utility, designed for Windows 95 and Windows NT.

It is an easy to use fully configurable and multithreaded program with an intuitive

user interface.

PingPlus allows an Internet user to:

- ping a remote host over the network

- trace the route to a remote host over the network

- look up a domain name from its IP address or an IP address from its domain name

- check up the localhost and the Winsock data

Ping is a network diagnostic tool used with TCP/IP internets to test reachability

of destinations by sending them ICMP echo request and waiting for a reply. The term

is now used like a verb as in, "please ping host A to see if it is alive."

Trace route is a network diagnostic tool that reports the list of gateways between

the source and a particular destination.

Lookup is a network information tool that returns the official host name, IP

address and alias (if it exist) from the DNS. DNS is the on-line distributed

database system used to map human-readable machine names into IP addresses.

System Requirements:

- you need to have Windows 95 or Windows NT installed on your computer

- no special hardware is required

- you need to have a TCP/IP network

- ping requires ICMP.DLL in your windows\system or winnt\system32 directory

iISystem Wiper

http://nn101.virtualave.net/

Attention: there's a pop-up windows appearing!

iISystem Wiper allows you to clear the history of your activites from you computer. Many programs store information about your activieties on the

computer. Some of this information is easy to clear, such as the History, but other information can be hard to locate and clear, for example the cookie index file. iISystem Wiper allows you to clear this information with a click of a button. In addition to the lack of privacy this stored information causes, the fileas can also take up large amounts of space on you hard drive. Internet Explorer's temporary files can take up hundreds of megabytes of space. iISystem Wiper will even automate the process of wiping clean your computer. All you have to is select what items you want cleared and iISystem Wiper will clear your computer everytime it is shutdown.

This list will be continued.....
