Chris
Microsoft® Office 2003 Service Pack 2 contains significant security enhancements, in addition to stability and performance improvements. Some of the fixes included with SP2 have been previously released as separate updates. This service pack combines them into one update.More | HereVisio 2003 Service Pack 2OneNote 2003 Service Pack
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
There have been vast numbers of problems reported by people who were trying to install the service pack. You should first try to install the service pack via Windows Automatic Updates, or via Microsoft Update. If the install fails, go to Update History (on the Microsoft Update site) and click on the red x button of the failed update for solutions. If you want to try the explicit download from the link above, there are two versions available:- Office2003SP2-KB887616-Client-ENU.exe (50MB) for users who have the Office 2003 disk available- Office2003SP2-KB887616-FullFile-ENU.exe (100MB) for users who don't have an Office 2003 diskThe second download may still ask for a disk if you have certain Office products installed, e.g. FrontPage 2003.This update cannot be uninstalled once it is complete. The only way to undo this update is via system restore. I strongly recommend anyone planning to install this update to do a full system backup before!P.S. I had some difficulties to download the update from the Microsoft site yesterday; it is also available from Majorgeeks.
