Chris Posted May 14, 2003 Report Share Posted May 14, 2003 Windows 95?I'm not sure on this but does W95 had Drivespace (see i can't even remeber the name of it).You can UNMOUNT the volume or is it MOUNT?Start/Programs/Accesories/System Tools/Drive Space > Then in the menus (maybe File?) From your PCA post too!I don't post much anywhere because usually there are people on forums (more or less) fighting to be first with the answer but in this case I'm sure I must have misunderstood something here because if the OS HAS been compressed then there is no way out. But if that was the case you would know that.Run it across again us again, from a different angle perhaps, so that I (and maybe others) may get a grasp of the real problem.BTW uncompressed and decompressed are the same thing to me so maybe that's a clue as to my own misunderstanding.
