ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I was checking on some files on a networked computer using Windows Explorer. Not exactly something unusual, I think. The suddenly I go a pop-up error message, while the Explorer window disappeared at the same time.Anyone ever seen this? Any idea where that is coming from, and what it means? I really have never seen this before. :ninja:Here is some info on what Data Execution Prevention is. Still I have no idea why I got that error...?I meant to post this last line above as a second post (after doing some searching), but it got merged into the original post (without even mentioning that the post has been "edited"). andsome
I have seen it a long time ago, but it has not happened since. Does it repeat with your computer. I also occasionally get a message that an error has occurred, the program will close and that I can send a message to Microsoft concerning this. I wonder if the two are linked. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
It has happened to me only once - today. It seems to be a new feature with XP-SP2.The other one - Program needs to close, and send a dump to Microsoft - came with the original XP; I don't think they are related in any way.
