For anyone with an Audigy2 cards, some new drivers have been released. There are no new features in the release, just some fixes...They are WHQL certified drivers.

Optimizes EAX 3 performance

Improves CMSS2 performance

Adds Audigy 2 Platinum support for pre-installed/system integrated Audigy 2 cards

Before installing this update

Be sure that you have:

Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000 or Windows XP installed

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 or Audigy 2 Platinum eX audio card installed

Note:

This update contains only the WDM drivers. There will not be future updates to the VXD drivers, which are no longer supported by many third-party applications. For the best user experience on the Audigy 2 series, please use the WDM drivers.
