Scarecrow Man Posted November 23, 2005 Report Share Posted November 23, 2005 That is exactly what hibernation is. It saves the state of your computers RAM to a location on the hard disk. When it is booted up again, the RAM is restored, as if you had never turned it off.I do not recomend using Hibernation, as it uses a lot of disk space. Scarecrow Man Posted November 24, 2005 Report Share Posted November 24, 2005 No. Windows Hibernation will set aside an amount of disk space (usually the equal to the amount of ram you have) and it will NOT be free until hibernation is disabled.
