I work on network support for a UK college, and we are just approaching the big year end exam period, so it's perhaps our most important and busiest period of the year (overtime's nice though ). I am not able to spend too much time online though, as the moment I get to sit down in the office, then some brat of a student comes in in tears with a duff floppy claiming all his work is on it, he has no back up and he hasn't got it on his network user area because it's full up with really important stuff that he has downloaded (Dumb idiots still haven't worked out that their downloaded mp3's and executables get trashed on the way through the firewall). Anyway I'm waffling, but to cap it off, my pc at home has just gone wobbly , yes I can fix it myself but as it's 2.5 years old and has a 3 year warranty it's going rtb for a few weeks. I might as well see what replacements I can get from the manufacturer for free.The only good news is, it's the mobo which is screwed, and I can't believe they are going to have a 2.5 year old mobo for replacement so I might finally get to upgrade my Athlon 950 and stick in some faster ram Thanks for sticking up for me Nellie but I'm going to be a bit intermittent for the next few weeks Regards.
