Thunderbird to Outlook help

Recommended Posts

Can anyone assist me in changing from Firefox Thunderbird to MS Outlook?

I mean, I can set everything up to begin sending & receiving mail using Outlook. I need to do this because my legal office management software (Amicus) and my Palm device & SmartPhone will not integrate with Thunderbird, therefore my e-mail and contacts are tough to keep accessible, and there will be no continuity. I don't want to start fresh! :ranting:

I would specifically like to know how to SAVE my existing e-mail files; so much of the mail is needed for future reference, and also, I use E-Fax, so my faxes have all come in and are saved in the e-mail program. I have lots of folders, too. Aaargh. :( And, I have a gazillion pieces of business and legal e-mail and faxes that are really part of my client files!! HELP!

I'll stop ranting, but since there appears to be no "easy" way to migrate the stuff to Outlook, how can I save all the mail & contacts & faxes (well, actually I can figure out how to move the faxes), then transfer them all to Outlook, re-sort the info, piece-by-piece, back into the newly set up Outlook folders?

Thanks very much!
