Hi, Sorry if this has already been asked/answered already, but here goes...

I have a two computers, a desktop PC running XP home and my school laptop running XP PRO each computer has a wireless card.

I want to setup a wireless peer-to-peer (ad-hoc) network between the two.

Now, my home desktop belongs to a workgroup, and my school laptop belongs to a domain.

Can I have it so these two computers can see each other without changing the domain/workgroup settings?

I cant change the domain on my laptop to a workgroup because it will stuff up the school wireless network settings, and I cant change the desktop to a domain because it is running xp home and I dont have a home server.

Can someone please help?

Quite a conundrum. Sorry I don't know of a way around it. If you change your laptop to the workgroup your desktop uses, you'll have to have Administrator rights on your school domain to add it back in. If they aren't in the same workgroup or domain, I don't know how you can share resources without leaving your computer pretty much wide open.
