Kirbster
Hi all,I have a laptop at school, connected to an overhead projector which projects onto an interactive whiteboard.Last week, after 6 months of it all working fine, all of a sudden my laptop screen has changed to 800 X 600 when it was 1152 X 864. If i change it back, then the projected image looks fine, which is great until I look at the laptop screen. For some reason I am able to scroll up and down and left and right, seems like the image is too big for the screen!!!!!The only change was that I unplugged the laptop from the projector for the first time in 6 months so I'm presuming it's lost some setting or another. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can fix this??
Scarecrow Man
There are a few different options with dual display. Mirror, Extend and Presentation. These may be named differently depending on your computer. You should try system restore first, but if that fails, check your manufacturers website for a dual-display update/driver.For example, I am using an IBM laptop, and it comes with a utility for changing displays. Motto for next time, don't unplug the laptop from the projector, just keep it status quo!!!!
